Community Centres
Since our first purpose built community centre in 1949, we have seen the development of centres across the city, providing local residents with access to support, activities and opportunities.
The Alf Marshall Centre is located in the heart of Bransholme and provides activities such as a coffee club, computer support, karate, keep fit, meditation, and yap and yarn crafts.

The Balfour Community Centre is located on Holderness Road and provides activities for local residents such as karate, yoga, bingo, dance classes, art groups and more.

The Bilton Grange Community Centre is located in the centre of the Bilton Grange estate and provides activities such as a gardening club, aikido club and access to a library.

The Hull Chinese Community and Culture Centre is located in the heart of Hull City Centre and serves as a focal point for Hull’s Chinese community.

The Drypool Green Community Centre is located off Holderness Road. This centre is currently closed until further notice.

The Eastmount Community Centre is located in the Longhill area and provides a range of recreational and educational activities.

The Hull Afro Caribbean Association (HACA) is located in Hull City’s Centre and provides a range of community activities such as cooking sessions and garden parties.

Lonsdale Community Centre is located off Anlaby Road and provides a range of recreational and educational activities throughout the week.
The Maurice Rawling Community Centre is located just off Rawling’s Way and provides opportunities such as coffee mornings and a kid’s rugby club.

The Mitchell Centre is in the Bransholme area. It is looking to reopen in Spring 2025 and provide activities such as youth clubs and coffee mornings.

North Hull Community Centre is located just off Hall Road and provides a range of recreational activities and support sessions throughout the week.
