The Edinburgh Street community centre is situated in West Hull right behind the well-known Hessle Road. Run by Anita and Connie for over 12 years, the centre holds a range of events from boxing tournaments to Slimming World, birthday parties to Christmas shindigs.
The centre has an identical layout to another one of our community centres, the Maurice Rawling centre. Edinburgh Street boasts a large hall with a stage area, an IT suite and a nursery.
One of it's most unique features is the Hessle Road mural in the main hall. This features many different Hessle Road 'characters' from over the years, and is a must-see within the centre.
