Course Title	Safer recruiting training - multi-agency
Course Information	To develop participants, understanding of safer recruitment and selection in relation to safeguarding children. To develop participants understanding of the guidance in relation to allegations of abuse made against people who work with children. by the end of the course participants will - identify the key features of staff recruitment that help deter or prevent the appointment of unsuitable people consider policies and practices that minimise opportunities for abuse or ensure its prompt reporting help participants begin to review their own and their organisations policies and practices in recruitment with a view to making them safer be aware of local and national guidance and procedures in relation to allegations of abuse made against people who work with children
Course length	One day
Target group	Staff from all agencies who are involved in the recruitment and selection process for those staff working with children and young people.
