Hull City Council are implementing signs of safety as our practice framework for children's services in Hull. Signs of safety is recognised as a best practice approach to child protection, which is equally applicable to early help, children looked after and children with disabilities. It has been adopted in more than 15 countries and Hull has joined a growing community of practitioners striving to achieve the very best outcomes for children and young people. We are holding partner briefing sessions so that you can hear more about the model and how your involvement will be critical to this work to help us form a common approach for families, a consistent way of working, use the same language, and work towards shared goals. |
