Fire warden - Learning and Development courses

The role of a fire warden is incredibly important. Your training here will equip you to keep everyone in your workplace safe and have a strategy if a fire occurs.

By the end of this module, you will -

• understand the importance of fire wardens and the law dictating the responsibility for fire safety at work
• learn about fire warden's duties, how to identify fire hazards, and the emergency protocol to follow
• discover what personal qualities are best suited to the role of fire wardens, and the knowledge they need to possess
• understand what to look out for during fire safety inspections
• learn about human behaviour when reacting to fire alerts and other factors which may impede people's response to act
• discover the different fire evacuation procedures
• understand the post-incident procedures of reporting and debriefing
