The aim of this eLearning course is to give the learner an awareness of Lone Working and the reasons for needing to plan in advance when staff members may be working in isolation.

Learners will see how to take steps to reduce personal safety risks and to improve their confidence when dealing with potential hazards.

By the end of this eLearning you will be able to -

  • define lone working
  • describe the potential hazards and control measures in relation to specific job roles and workplaces
  • identify the potential risks in lone working situations
  • explain the need for risk assessments
  • list the factors which should be considered in relation to lone working
