The vulnerability of babies - Learning and Development courses

This course will raise awareness of the vulnerabilities of babies and young children.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to -

• identify why babies are more vulnerable to harm than any other age group
• discuss lessons learnt from Serious Case reviews
• have an understanding of the physical anatomy of very young children
• consider how environmental factors such as, domestic abuse increase the vulnerability of babies
• consider how practice can be improved

All practitioners who work with babies and young children.
