Course Information

Trusted Assessor training will give you confidence to discuss, understand and assess for and prescribe a small range of daily living aids and minor adaptations in accordance with Hull CC Criteria.

  • Learn what things to think about when recommending appropriate equipment and understand safety & risk
  • Be able to prescribe specified equipment and minor adaptations
  • Know what to look for when checking prescribed equipment
  • Know when to refer people back to Occupational therapy Teams
  • Recognise the role of Trusted Assessor

Social Care support officers, social care advisors, social workers, OTA's and out of hours workers.
