All fees listed below are subject to increase 1 April 2024.
These charges only apply to Hull City Council managed locations and are chargeable per production as a one-off film permit. Please note that any prices listed do not include VAT and are subject to increase on 1 April every year.
Permit fees depend on the size of crew -
- up to 10 people - £50
- 11 to 24 people - £150
- 25 to 74 people - £300
- 75 to 100 people - £400
- 100 to 149 people - £500
- 150 or more - £1000
There are exceptions to this, and you will not be charged if your production is for -
- a charity
- student or publicly funded short film
- national or international travel vlog
- accredited news crews
- Hull registered production companies of all sizes
Parking fees
Production is charged -
- £15 per bay
- with a £25 admin fee per application
Temporary traffic restrictions
Prices given for temporary traffic restrictions are per application, not per road closure. These also include a £250 administration fee.
A temporary traffic order is £750 but may be subject to the size of the advertisement costs.
