Professionals
If you are a professional, you must seek consent before making the online request. This is unless doing so would place a child at risk. Your contact may not be accepted without this. We aim to make decisions on next steps within one working day. This is why it is so important you provide as much detail as possible. We want to make sure that family's contact details are correct.
You can refer to the relevant form guidance and threshold of need document within the portal. This is to help you make the relevant request for service.

In an emergency only or for urgent advice, you can contact the Early Help and Safeguarding Hub (EHASH) or the Emergency Duty Team (out of hours). Use the following telephone numbers -

How the information you provide is handled
Qualified social work staff within EHASH will review the information received and check the records. If needed they will make some more enquiries.
