Stairlifts fitted up to and including Friday 31 March 2023 were installed by Prism Medical. They will remain under warranty. This is with Prism Medical for 2 years for council properties and 5 years for private properties. We will contact you when your stairlift is coming out of warranty.
As from Saturday 1 April 2023, Handicare Stairlifts UK are the new contractors to install stairlifts. Wessex Lift Co. Ltd is the new contractor to install through floor lifts. Warranty for both stairlifts and through floor lifts is 2 years for council properties. It is 5 years for private properties. We will contact you when your stairlift and through floor lift is coming out of warranty.

Disabled Facilities Grant Warranties
When the stair lift or through lift was installed, it will have had a maintenance and repair warrantee provided as part of the grant. After this period, the householder handles arranging and funding any maintenance and repairs. Pickering Lifts can help in this case.
