Combined Mayoral Authority Election
Hull City Council and East Riding of Yorkshire Council have agreed a devolution deal with the government which has created a combined authority. This means money and power can move from government to decision makers in our area.
This has also introduced the elected role of the Combined Authority mayor.
Scheduled elections
The inaugural Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority (HEYCA) Mayoral election will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025.
