Penalties

If you're seen dropping litter in Hull this may result in -

• £150 fixed penalty.  This is reduced to £120, if paid within 7 days
• prosecution and a maximum penalty of £2,500

How you can help to reduce litter

• don't drop litter
• use anyone of our 4,000 street litter bins to dispose of your litter
• take your litter home and dispose of it within a bin
• report street litter problems with us
• report issues with street litter bins

Paying a fixed penalty

If you have received a fixed penalty and this begins with KH followed by 9 digits, this will have been issued by our enforcement contractor LA Support Limited.

This fixed penalty must only be paid directly to them. Details of how payment can be made to our enforcement contractor will be on any fixed penalty notice issued.

Payments can be made to LA Support Limited by -

• calling 0800 781 6229 for payments only
• online (opens in a new window)

If you wish to dispute a fixed penalty issued by our enforcement contractor, or have lost the documents you were issued, contact our contractor by email hull.council@lasupport.co.uk

If you have contacted our enforcement contractor by email and you have not received a response within 14 days of doing so, email lasoperationsteam@kingdom.co.uk

If you telephone 0800 781 6229 to make any representations or complaints, be aware that you will be requested to do so by email.

If you have received a fixed penalty on headed paper from us, this will contain a 6-digit number. It must only be paid to us on the next page.
