Early help for families
There will be times when you and your family need support, or when you are not sure how to make things better. There are a group of services in Hull collectively known as Early Help. They can support you at these times to make problems easier to understand and quicker to solve.
How we will help you
When a member of the family has a problem, it generally has an impact on the whole family. We will work to support everyone in order to improve the situation.
With your consent, a lead practitioner will speak to you about you and your family. You will then complete the Early Help Assessment together.
See our guidance document for details on the next steps of the Early Help process.
Accessing Early Help support
You can seek support from a professional who is currently known to your family. For example, a health professional or a member of staff at your child's school.
