If you are applying for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction, we may need proofs to verify your application. We may also need proofs if you are receiving benefits or reductions, or have a change in circumstances. This is before a decision can be made.
How to provide proofs
You can -
- scan or photograph original documents and e-mail them to benefitssr@hullcc.gov.uk
- visit one of our Customer Service Centres
- send your proofs to us, do not send any valuable documents through the post
If you have been asked to supply any additional documents or proofs to us, you can scan the document to us by taking a picture of the document and uploading it. (Documents can only be sent in JPEG or PNG)
