As the festive season approaches, we often see a rise in scams including those sent through text messages and emails. Citizens Advice have lots of helpful information and tools to help you stay one step ahead of the scammers.

Cost of Living
There are lots of community groups and organisations that can offer help with the cost of living. You can find lots of practical help with eating well, keeping well and staying warm this winter. If you are struggling, remember you are not alone, this is a very difficult time for many of us. There are lots of places who can offer support, especially if you are feeling low.

Pension credit
Pensioners are being urged to check if they are eligible for Pension Credit. Up to 880,000 households across the UK may be missing out on support worth on average over £3,900 a year. You can claim Pension Credit if you’re of State Pension age and on a low income.

Annual memorial service to be held
The traditional Christmas memorial service is to take place at Chanterlands Crematorium on Sunday 15 December.
