Local agents signed up to prevent damp and mould
The following local residential managing and letting agents have signed up with East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull City Council's Private Sector Housing Enforcement teams in a government campaign to prevent and tackle damp and mould in the private rented sector.
Agents will be contacting all landlords and tenants under their remit, to encourage them about the need to -
- raise concerns
- investigate the causes
- take timely action to remedy
- prevent damp and mould in rental homes
It is hoped by taking this proactive stance, issues can be addressed in an informal way and without the need for enforcement action.
