Call for sites
Developers and landowners can submit land for consideration. They can submit it in the strategic housing land availability assessment. This is as well as the Brownfield Land Register.
Sites submitted to be considered for inclusion in the strategic housing land availability assessment or Brownfield Land Register must clearly identify the site's boundary. This can be shown using a detailed location map (Ordnance Survey 1:1250/2500 or an up-to-date Aerial Photograph).
Brownfield Land Register sites with potential for housing led development must meet the national planning policy framework definition of previously developed land.
We accept sites for consideration all year round. Forms submitted between the 1 April and 31 March will be considered within the SHLAA/BLR of the year the March falls.
