Extractor fan installations
We will be installing new EnviroVent fans in Council homes citywide.
The programme will include 11,000 properties each year and will be completed over 3 years.
Our Partner Contractor Kingstown Works Limited (KWL) will be the main contractor for this work.
How the fans work
The fans are designed to help ventilate and reduce the amount of condensation in your home. Access more information about condensation in your home.
The fans are continuous and will run at a low speed when humidity is detected.
They automatically increase speed until the humidity has reduced. While reducing the fan will decrease to the low-speed setting.
The fans are very quiet even when running at the increased speed.
What happens next
We will write to you when the planned works are due in your area of the city.
You will receive a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice before any work starts in your home.
