What happens next

When you report a defect we inspect it within 5 working days to decide the safety risk and when to fix it. If a repair is considered necessary it can take up to 28 days to schedule and complete the repair.

We only have a limited budget for repairing the roads and paths and must manage this budget carefully. We sometimes make a repair in order to make a road safe or useable until larger scale repairs are carried out.
