The aims of the pay policy is to-
- provide transparency of pay issues with particular regard to those of senior officers
- ensure that pay policy is applied fairly and reasonably within the means of the council to pay
- ensure that we are compliant with legislation
Gender pay cap reporting
Gender Pay Gap reporting legislation requires employers with 250 or more employees to publish statutory calculations every year showing how large the pay gap is between their male and female employees. These reports and our pay policy can be downloaded.
