Anyone aged 60 or over can buy a national senior citizens railcard for £30 for one year. As a Hull resident you are eligible to a railcard at a discounted cost of £24.
To apply for the discount, you need a unique voucher code which you can apply for at one of the following libraries -

- Bransholme Library at North Point Shopping Centre
- East Park Library in the pavilion, East Park
- Fred Moore Library on Wold Road

- Western Library on the Boulevard
Proofs
You will need to bring -
- proof of residency, such as a -
- council tax bill dated within the last 12 months
- utility bill
- bank statement dated within the last 3 months
- proof of age, such as a -
- valid passport
- birth certificate
- marriage certificate
- driving licence
- if you are from an EU member state and are a permanent resident of Hull, you also need to provide proof. Your proof must be of nationality and permanent residency in Hull
- if you are a non-EU resident, you need to provide a letter from the Home Office that proves you have been granted -
- permanent UK residency
- indefinite leave to remain
- indefinite leave to enter
- biometric residents permit
