Rail passes are schemes that exist that allow for the council to issue passes on behalf of rail companies to senior citizens and disabled people.
These passes can both be applied for by going to a library in Hull.
Disabled rail pass applications can be made by appointment by calling 01482 210 000 and then going to a library. If you do not have an appointment, you may be asked to wait or return later.
For a national senior citizens railcard, you will need to apply for a unique voucher code. You can do this at one of our libraries. Once you have this unique voucher code, you will be able to buy a railcard either online or by calling 08448 714 036.
For both of these rail passes, you will need proof of eligibility. Without proof we cannot issue a rail pass. When renewing your disabled rail pass you still need to provide proof of disability.
More information on disability railcards and national senior citizens railcards can be found on their pages. They include information such as eligibility and what proof you need to have to apply.
