Young peoples advice and support

A number of services are available to provide advice and support for children young people and families in Hull. Find out more about these services and how to contact them using the list below.

Mental health and wellbeing

Thrive Hull supports children and young people by offering a range of services and interventions to support the emotional health and wellbeing of 10 to 16-year-olds in Hull.

The How Are You Feeling website provides lots of advice, support and useful resources to support children, young people and parents.

Connexions

Connexions offer support for young people in making decisions about their future. This includes education, employment and training choices.

Supported Lodgings

Supported Lodgings offer support if you are a carer who wants to offer help to a young person from the age of 15 to 24-years-old.

Alcohol, drugs and addictions support

We offer confidential Drug and alcohol support and advice for young people and their families about alcohol, drugs and other addictions.

Targeted Youth Support (TYS)

The Targeted Youth Support (TYS) team offer support, information and advice to young people aged 16 to 21.

Young carers

Young carers are children and young people up to the age of 18 whose lives are being affected by looking after someone with a disability or a long-term illness. The children and young people's service offers support to young carers and their parents.

Adoption

We support children and families going through the Adoption process. We can also help if you are an individual or part of a family looking into adoption, by providing you with information and support.

Fostering

You can access information on Hull Fostering about fostering a child or young person in your home when they are not able to live at home with their family.

Creative Voice Youth Arts

Creative Voice Youth Arts provide activities and workshops for young people aged 13 to 19.
