Course Information	The aim of the workshop is to - give professionals the confidence and tools to undertake direct work with parents to increase their ability to protect provide an understanding of what sexual abuse is, signs, symptoms, short and long term impact on victims provide information and experiences of families who have been affected by sexual abuse provide information on strategies and tactics used by offenders, both contact and online gain an understanding of why victims do not tell or retract statements consider how children and young people can be protected
