Second reminder
If a payment is made after a first reminder has been issued and a further instalment is missed, a second reminder is issued for the unpaid amount.
If a payment is paid within 7 days, the instalments continue.
You must bring your instalments up to date by paying the amount on the Reminder within 7 days of the date of the letter.
Contact us if you cannot bring your payments up to date within 7 days. It may be possible to make different arrangements. Otherwise, a court summons can be issued for the full amount of Council Tax due for the year and an additional £80 court costs are added to your bill.
