Upcoming charity events
All proceeds from the events will be donated to the Lord Mayor’s charities. This year they are Hull and East Yorkshire Children’s University and Cruse Bereavement Support.

Saturday 19 October - Lord Mayor's At Home
Location - Guildhall
Time - 10.30am until 12 midday
A chance to meet the Lord Mayor in the magnificent setting of the Banqueting Hall in the Guildhall. Tickets are free of charge and include tea, coffee and a piece of cake. There is a plant sale at 12 midday where the plant display sponsored by KWL will be sold in aid of the Lord Mayor’s Charities.
Tuesday 3 December until Saturday 21 December - Christmas Tree Festival
Location - Hull Minster
Organisations and individuals are asked to decorate a tree to be displayed in the Minster. The charge to enter is £10 Trees must be artificial and battery lights must be used.
Friday 14 February - Rainbow Ball
Location - Guildhall
Time - 7.30pm
Tickets are £25 and include a buffet. Details of artists to be finalised.
Tuesday 4 March – Trevor Stark Memorial Quiz
Location - Guildhall
Time - 7pm
Teams of 6 are asked to enter this quiz at £12.50 per person which includes a supper of -
- pie
- chips
- peas
- gravy
Friday 7 March – Rock Concert
Location - Hull City Hall
Details to be released at a later date.
Friday 9 May – Charity Ball
The Ball will have a Bridgerton theme. Early bird tickets will be £35 per person with tickets rising to £40 per person a month before. Ticket price includes entertainment and a three course meal. Further details to follow.
