Find a range of self-referral support from support services -
- Live well Hull is a one-stop information and support site for adults
- NHS Mental Health and Wellbeing coaches create a personalised wellbeing plan to support their mental health recovery. Referral is through your GP
- The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year and can be contacted by calling 116 123
- You can email jo@samaritans.org, however response time for emails could take several days
- Shout is a free and confidential support service 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for anyone in the UK who is struggling to cope

Community groups for bereavement support
- Fitmums have developed a free and friendly walking group for anyone who has lost a loved one. Led by trained and supportive leaders, each session includes the opportunity for a drink and a chat after going for a walk
- these run every Wednesday at 9.30am, meeting at the University of Hull, at the Art Gallery within Brynmor Jones Library building
- no need to book, just turn up

- First Ladies Club Hull provide emotional support for women

- Emotional well being hub situated at the Humber Bridge Country Park in Hessle and is available for anyone who would like more information on support providers in the local area
