Consumers can check the HM Government website to see if consumer products have been recalled. This also has information on what to do if a product in those categories has been recalled.
Buying second hand goods
When consumers buy second hand goods they are required by law to be safe. The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents has a guide to buying second-hand goods.
