Dangerous wild animal licence
A licence is required for anyone who wishes to keep an animal, defined by law as a Dangerous Wild Animal.
If you have an animal which is deemed to be a dangerous wild animal, an application for a licence must be made by the keeper. Arrangements will be made for a veterinary surgeon to inspect the premises where the animal will live. Once the vet gives a satisfactory report on the animals living accommodation and general health, a licence will be issued.
