Street trading consent
If you provide any chargeable service or are selling products in the open air, including on private land where the public have direct access without payment, street trading consent is required.
Examples include -
- hot food
- fruit and vegetables
- ice cream
- confectionery
From 1 April 2025, new fees come into force -

Also, the fee for new/replacement documents for Street Trading Consent (identification badges, plates etc) is £35.70. This applies to any document, regardless of quantity.
